Home for Christmas

On Christmas Eve we headed to Orlando where we boarded a plane and headed for Michigan! It was a really long day due to several delays but the flight itself went really well. All three kids traveled really well.

Christmas Day we headed over to Eric's parents. The boys love Grandma's box of airplanes and matchbox cars and were excited that Tanner was willing to play too!

Saturday Levi went to Seth's house and Alaina came to Grandma's to play with Justin. At supper time we had pizza and were able to introduce Miley & Lacy.

Uncle Brent brought his 3 wheeler and the kids spent several hours in the snow. Levi was scared to be on the sled so Uncle Brian held him and he rode on the 3-wheeler instead!

After time out in the snow the kids re-enacted their own version of the Nativity. Justin was the narrator and did a great job!

Auntie Rae & Uncle Andy sent gifts from Alaska! The boys were excited to see what they got! They were even more excited when they got t-shirts! They love getting t-shirts from Alaska!

Then we had a birthday party for Jesus! The kids all sang Happy Birthday and were able to blow out the candles.
On Tuesday evening Miley was able to meet Alex. She thought he was pretty tiny!

Then Miley got sick... bummer... Thursday morning we brought her to the walk-in clinic at 7:30 a.m. and she had an ear infection and a nasty cold!! Her very first bug... she made it almost 8 months without getting sick! She was miserable!
On Thursday night we had a party at Sam & Michelle's with two other families! The kids literally spent hours outside sledding! They had so much fun together!!

We had a great time in Michigan and it was so good to see many of our friends and family.

Our Family Christmas

We celebrated our Christmas as a family the Saturday before Christmas because we were going to by flying to Michigan on Christmas Eve. Miley was intrigued with the presents when she woke up!

My Monday morning Bible Study group gathered at Nancy's house for a Christmas brunch. It was a beautiful morning.
