Sweet Logan - One Year Pictures

This is Logan - he has the brightest smile!

He's not walking yet - but he wasn't afraid to try!

Nursing School

My sister-in-law Mary graduated from GRCC with her nursing degree. I was asked by the class to come and take the class portrait. What an honor and it was fun to meet the people who loved and encouraged Mary through this long process! I am so proud of her sticking to it and becoming an RN! Way to go Mary! I love you!

At the Park

These were taken of my friend Jill's family at the park.

Weddings

Here are a few (okay a lot!) of my favorites from the weddings I have done lately!

You'll have to ask Pastor Scott what he just said to cause the bride to make this face!
His face actually says it all!
Bella LOVES cake!

I really liked this cake - I thought is was so unique!

Watching Aunt Shelly walk down the aisle. Priceless!

This bride's brother is serving in Iraq and had hoped to make it in time for the wedding - but wasn't able to. This picture was in honor of him!

My T-Ball Player

I know I have blogged about Justin and t-ball already - this picture has quickly become my favorite picture of him! My little boy is growing up!

Boys, Boys, Boys

This week I had the opportunity to take pictures of some very precious little boys! They all did such a gret job!

Jonathan's best buddy - his bear!

More Boys...

These precious boys came with their mom! What great memories they were able to create.

Mom's Home from Africa!

Finally, to follow up my Africa blogs - Mom is home! She actually has been home for a week and a half. Sorry for the delay. She had a wonderful time and is already anxiously awaiting her next trip back next summer! She has truly fallen in love with the women & girls of Zambia.

The next few entries are bits and pieces of her praise report upon her return. She is so thankful to God for his abundant blessings.

Here is an Africa praise and prayer update from Mom: Thanksgiving for an absolutely wonderful, God blessed trip to Zambia. For health for all the team members, for safety in travel, for a team that worked so well together and used their gifts so willingly. For how we were blessed by the women at training.

She also requests that we continue to pray...
Please pray for the 74 new counselors, and 10 new clubs. Pray for our existing clubs, the counselors and girls. Pray for Florence and the children. Pray that we are open and listening to God's call, and obedient to His plan for GEMS in Africa.

Enjoy the pictures - our little window to Zambia! Thanks for all your prayers and support on behalf on my mom as well as the GEMS ministry.

Jesus loves the little children - all the children of the world!

The Current GEMS Clubs

Thanks be to God: For being able to visit 3 of the 4 clubs meeting since last August, for seeing the GEMS and counselors "getting it!" To hear the girls, stand up and recite Micah 6:8 and so much more! Thanksgiving for Judith and Patricia for handling the service center from Deliverance Church, for the records they've kept and the accountablitiy that they have shown. For the gracious host church, Deliverance that accomodated all our training needs.
Our smallest club in Zambia.
The three counselors from that club - a momma and her two daughters.
A GEMS small group meeting.
Singing - praise & worship time.
