Training the GEMS Leaders from Last Year & New Ones!

These are the counselors that the GEMS Crew trained last year to be counselors. Last year 4 clubs were established. Here the counselors are back in training - this particular day they are learning how to make baskets for the Basket Badge. Once they learn then theywill take it back to their clubs and teach the girls.

Isn't this little girl so precious! Mom remembers her from last year - she came with her mom to training then too.
Thank God for the 74 women who came from the new training, and the 10 clubs that will be starting in the next few weeks.
These are the 74 woman being trained to start GEMS clubs as well as how to lead and teach the girls.
Some of these women walked as much as 6 miles to attend training every day. Amazing!
