Moo-ville

On Friday, we went to Moo-ville which is a dairy farm and creamery just south of Nashville, MI. It is actually owned & run by my Dad's cousins (which I have never met). We had heard that they had the BEST Milk and Ice Cream around. So of course we had to check it out! They had a great petting zoo with, goats, a horse, a pony, a baby cow, and ducks. The boys had a great time feeding the animals as well as petting them. In this picture you can see the actual dairy farm up on the hill. There is a galvanized pipeline above ground that goes from the barn to the creamery.Justin had a heart for the baby goats and didn't like it when "Mama" tried to steal the food that he intended for the babies! The horse & pony.Justin thought it was so funny that this duck was going to church! Levi's favorite animal! He didn't bite, steal food, or scare him!

And of course the faces say it all! The ice cream was unbelievably delicious! We walked away with 2 half gallons of ice cream and 3 gallons of milk! Now we just have to figure out how to get the milk on a regular basis! Middleville Marketplace is the closes distributer so it will be a little hike every week! Eric says it is the best milk he has ever tasted! And that is saying something because he drinks about 2 gallons a week.

Gotta love a field trip that ends with ice cream! There is a really fun dairy/petting farm in New Era Michigan - Lewis Farm Market. Our kids love to go there to feed the goats, etc. Love the pic of Levi on mini-cow!
