This past weekend we went to Tropical Palms RV Resort in Kissimmee with friends. We were going to tent, but decided on a cottage and for that we were very thankful! Friday morning Levi woke up with the stomach flu... it was not a quick one either - as parents we were struggling with whether to go our not. The boys were so excited that we decided to go and Levi really wanted to go.
We did not get to the park until 5:30 p.m. because we were waiting on Levi to feel better! However, he still hadn't kept anything down yet. He did continue to throw-up the rest of the evening but had a great nights sleep and woke up a new boy in the morning! He was feeling much better - not quite his energetic self - but much better.
Saturday morning we were so excited to go outside because it was actually cold! It was in the 60's and it felt delightful! This is the boys checking out the temperature!
After breakfast we headed out on a walk to get some much needed fresh air! We walked to the pond in the park and there were signs all over the railings "Do not feed the alligators!" We really didn't think there would be alligators in the pond because we have been here 2 months and seen numerous ponds and they always say "Beware of the Alligators" and there is never any that we an see. So we were very surprised to see Alligators actually looking at us!
The boys loved seeing the alligators and had to call their cousin Jonathan right away and tell him they saw an alligator! Jonathan has been asking and was so excited for us!

The Dad's and the kids played miniature golf and the Dad's won.
All the kids in the pool - the air was pretty cool but the pool was warm!
This was the first time Miley tried out her pool seat! She loved it! She really likes the water and doesn't even mind when she gets her face wet!
Chatting with Daddy!
The crab was the only pool toy I could find that she could sit in - not my first choice but at least she wasn't "crabby" in it!
Sitting by the fire.
Eric with Micah & Miley (they are a little less than a month apart).
Miley waiting for her dinner!
It was so cold (in the 60's) we must be true Floridians! The average temp has not been below 90' since we arrived so a 20-30' temperature drop makes it seem much colder!
Miley fell asleep in her cozy Hotsling.
We thought we had kicked the bugs... but we didn't Saturday night it was Justin's turn to be sick! Sunday morning we packed up and headed for home first thing!
All in all it was a good weekend. It was good to be with friends - but it would have been so much better if we would have all been healthy!
