We had a little excitement at our house last night! A couple weeks ago Justin & Eric set snares in the woods to see if they could get a coyote, fox, raccoon... they had never done anything like this before and weren't sure if it would work. About every other day they go for a hike in the woods to check the snares. They were starting to doubt that it would really work! Last night however, I had two very excited boys!.jpg)
The coyote is huge - about 40lbs!

It took Levi a few minutes to get close - but then he thought is was the greatest too!

Holy coyote! That is so awesome. And to think that we live in Grand Rapids, not the wild, wild West!
Sweet!! Maybe Justin can teach me a thing or two about hunting. I may need some refrences in the near future!! *wink*wink*
How cool!!!! What fun for the boys!
