We have added a family of ants to our home! The boys have enjoyed watching them dig tunnels and trying to figure out what they are doing. It has been interesting to watch... their lifespan is only 2 - 4 weeks - so they won't be around for long. (and that is okay...)

Have fun with the ant farm! When I was teaching I tried it one year, but my ants all died in transit. It was spring and we had an unseasonably warm day...go figure! They were sitting in my mailbox too long and all passed away. It was so sad. The kids in my class were on a mission at recess for a few days to "catch" ants. So fun!
