On Tuesday, August 18 we began our journey south. We left at 6:30 a.m. for a long day of traveling. We drove down in our Suburban pulling the cargo trailer with all of our belongings!
The boys snuggled in with their new special friends - Levi's fox...
and Justin's raccoon... they both clung to their special friends as we headed out.
Miley had her own t.v. for the trip and she enjoyed it very much! No sound... just the pictures... Bernstein Bears was her favorite!
The boys alternated between the car and Grandpa & Grandma's motor home. They were exhausted!

We stopped the first night in Horse Cave, Kentucky at a KOA campground. The boys enjoyed swimming and playing on the play ground after a long day. We were on the road about 12 hours.

Back on the road for day 2. The boys had great little bags from a friend that had wrapped gifts in it. They periodically opened another one! They loved it!

We figured out that we could turn the air bag off on the front passenger seat. Justin enjoyed a leg of the trip being "co-pilot"... but then decided that every co-pilot needs a break to play the i-pod! (Thus the reason why I was in the back seat! What a good mom I am huh!?... sometimes!)
