Eric and the boys walking up to the house for the first time! The boys were really excited! We arrived on Thursday, August 20 after 30 hours of traveling!
Of course after a quick walk through of the house they had to run out and check out the pond!
Then the unpacking began! The boys were big helpers!
Here they are carrying in pieces of their bunk beds.
The first morning in our new house... make shift breakfast table and cereal... the only thing in the refrigerator is a gallon of milk that we picked up on our way in! No banana bread...
As soon as the boys were dressed they were off to catch minnows in the pond.
Justin had the best time "organizing" his room. He spent hours just organizing and reorganizing.
The house only had one rickety ceiling fan... so we visited our local Home Depot and purchased a few ceiling fans. Here Eric is installing the one in Miley's room. She had been sleeping and as he was working he looked down to find two big eyes watching him! It was so cute!
Of course after unpacking you need to take a break... we headed to the ocean (less than 15 minutes from our house!!) The waves were big due to Hurricane Bill and the boys had fun watching guys surf. What a lot of new experiences we have before us!

So glad to hear that you made it safe and sound! You have a beautiful place there-looks perfect for the boys!! We miss you already, but are excited for you guys to be starting this new journey. We will be praying for you!
love the pics - love the kitchen table - looks and sounds familiar to our experience - I so can feel it there with ya!! It is good to see you getting things accomplished. Missing you guys!
